Hello, Commanders!

Oceania Storm swept onto the battlefield just three weeks ago, making landfall on June 11. Since then, we've been closely monitoring the evolving meta and reviewing bug reports from across the front lines.

Earlier this week, we released an overview of the upcoming balance changes in a dedicated dev blog by our lead game designer. If you missed that announcement, you can catch up here:

Bug Fixes

Alongside the balance changes, the team has been busy clearing up issues reported by the community. The following fixes are now live.

Battle

  • THE TIGERS unit ability was not triggered after a copied, developed, or stolen Countermeasure was triggered. Fixed.
  • The 909th ROSLAVL incorrectly gave Blitz to any unit on the board that became Suppressed. Fixed.
  • Fixed an incorrect interaction between cards with the "Distribute X damage between enemies" ability (e.g. THUNDERSTORM) and effects that increase order damage (e.g. J1N1 GEKKO, IMPERIAL DECREE), which could cause excessive bonus damage to be dealt.
  • If KAWANISHI H8K was deployed while holding 9 cards in hand, selecting a Forecast type could cause the card drawn by its deployment ability to be discarded as though the hand were full, even when space was available. Fixed.
  • The B-26 MARAUDER unit ability did not correctly trigger for the RAAF WALRUS deployment ability. Fixed.
  • If a DO OR DIE was played, and a card with the “Destroyed at end of turn” ability (e.g. added by FRONT FORMATION) was destroyed at the end of turn, DO OR DIE did not trigger. Fixed.
  • The JUNGLE FEVER variant that adds the top unit of your deck to your support line could incorrectly add the second unit instead if the top card had previously been converted by an effect such as the AMERICAN GUARD deployment effect. Fixed.
  • When the CYCLONE variant that causes each unit to deal damage to itself equal to its attack was played, 511th REGIMENT was destroyed instead of becoming Veteran. Fixed.
  • An active ULTRA Countermeasure could be triggered after an opponent's Ki-83 played a RESISTANCE card from the top of the deck. Fixed.
  • A T-70 unit spawned by MOBILE DEFENSE and retreated to hand (e.g. by ZAMOŚĆ UPRISING) remained in hand instead of being discarded or destroyed. Fixed.
  • When a 336th GUARDS NAVAL deployment ability was used to copy a unit in hand to the support line, the Intel icon was not shown on the copied unit in hand. Fixed.
  • After a DECOY TACTICS was played on the BM-13N US6, if a unit attacked the BM-13N US6, the unit was retreated but the discard ability from DECOY TACTICS was not triggered. Fixed.
  • Fixed an interaction between SPARS and EAGLE DAY that could prevent the intended German air unit from entering play after ending the turn.

UI

  • In the Collection menu, when inspected, the ROUTED TROOPS spawnable card was missing from the ROUT card information. Fixed.
  • On an iPhone 13 Mini, the sign-in window was slightly too large, causing the Close button to fall off the screen. Fixed.
  • In the Pack opening screen, when the last pack of a pack type was opened, the image of the pack was updated to the next pack type in order, while the name below the image remained on the last pack type opened. Fixed.
  • The incorrect pack image could sometimes be displayed in the "Packs" section of the Shop. Fixed.

Changes to Draft

Added to card pool

  • 1ER HUSSARDS
  • 39TH BOLOGNA REGIMENT
  • LION FOR A DAY
  • IRON DIVISION
  • KOMET

Removed from card pool

  • TASK FORCE 44
  • DINGO
  • RAAF WALRUS
  • Z SPECIAL UNIT
  • DEFEND THE NATION
  • 110e RÉGIMENT MOTORISÉ
  • LA DIVISION LECLERC
  • 432. INFANTRY REGIMENT
  • CLAIM OBJECTIVE
  • FIRST TO FIGHT

In addition to the fixes listed above, we also corrected a few card classification issues, including incorrect rotation information displayed in the Collection menu and two cards assigned to the wrong Active/Reserved pool.

That's all for now. As always, thank you for reporting issues and sharing feedback - your continued support helps us keep the battlefield running smoothly. Keep an eye on the news feed for further updates and incoming intel.
