First: somehow, HANDS OVER ended up in the SteamDB top 100.
Second: we are still not entirely sure how that happened.
For a little while, the game reached #61 on SteamDB and our reaction was basically:
“Wait... what?”
No, we did not hack Steam.
No, we do not have any secret tricks.
Yes, it looked very strange.
It seems SteamDB had a small moment and briefly placed HANDS OVER next to some very serious projects.
But if the top 100 appearance was a bug, your support definitely is not.
You are wishlisting the game, following the news, talking about the project and helping HANDS OVER grow.
And we have one more important update: playtester sign-ups are now closed.
Our goal was 15,000 players, and you reached it.
Thank you to everyone who signed up for the playtest and supported the game from the very beginning.
Now there is not much left to wait.
The playtest is getting close.
Very soon, you will face bluffing, sabotage, mini-games, suspicious friends and plenty of moments where “it wasn’t me” will sound extremely unconvincing.
