Hey there Escapists! We don’t have a traditional devlog for you today, however, keep reading, because we have some exciting stuff coming your way regardless.
You heard that right! We’ve been hard at work on Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School since we dropped our demo, and looking back, it’s time for a refresh.

This demo contains the entire FIRST CHAPTER of Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School. Enjoy a preview of this year’s upcoming curriculum right from the start of the game! In this NEW Demo you will:
Buy a ticket and take a ride to the enigmatic Escape Academy.
Escape from a death-defying introductory course on the Academy’s history.
Explore the sights and sounds of the game’s living, breathing open campus
Earn Extra Credit from puzzle-stuffed side quests!
Rendezvous with Professor Solange atop the school’s mysterious Clocktower in a new, never-before-seen escape room.

There are a few bugs we know of with the demo - if you find any others, a report in our Discord/to our email would be greatly appreciated! At the moment, these are our known issues:
Localization has been implemented, but has yet to undergo testing. There may be some broken strings in this build of the demo.
We do not have our final version of the Kira Tempest 2D portraits, so while she’s less sketch-y looking than previous versions, her current 2D portrait lacks final shading.
The end cutscene is currently unable to be skipped. Sorry, speedrunners!
We’re planning to drop a patch relatively soon to address these issues, as well as any other issues that crop up between now and then. Keep your eyes peeled!
