Hello, this is developer RasEn.

It has been quite some time since my last post.
In this edition of “Coffee, Code, and Ashes,” I’d like to casually share some updates about the development journey so far, along with a few things to look forward to in the future.

■ The Direction of Development, and Growing Concerns

Last year, I had planned to share updates with you on a regular basis. However, while continuously reflecting on the question, “How can I make this game even more enjoyable?” and going through extensive R&D, both major and minor changes to the game’s direction occurred quite frequently.

As a solo developer, progress may have appeared somewhat slow from the outside, but in reality, it was a constant process of carefully reviewing, refining, and polishing the content to create a better experience.

At the same time, I found myself increasingly hesitant about sharing things too early before they were fully decided upon. If information I shared in advance were later scrapped or significantly changed during development, I worried it might only cause confusion for everyone.

Because of that cautious mindset, I hesitated to write updates, and as a result, news has been delayed longer than expected. I sincerely apologize to everyone who has patiently waited and supported the project in silence.

■ A Heartfelt Thank You for Your Support

Recently, more and more people have been reaching out through various channels, asking about the game and sending encouraging messages. Thank you so much for your concern and for wondering whether I might be exhausted after such a long development journey.

Developing a game alone can sometimes feel like running an endless marathon — isolating, exhausting, and uncertain. But every warm message you left behind became like a refreshing sip of water that eased that exhaustion and gave me strength to keep moving forward.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to all of you.

■ Offline Demo Announcement : PlayX4

Thanks to all of your encouragement, I can finally begin showing some of the results of these long 고민 and iterations in person.

I’m excited to announce that the game will be participating in PlayX4!

While the demo build does not yet contain every feature and idea currently being planned, you will be able to directly experience the evolving core direction of the game and many of the new refinements currently being worked on.

Demo Build Update Information

Since this event is being held offline in Korea, I feel truly sorry that I won’t be able to meet many overseas players in person.

For global players who may not be able to attend, I plan to further polish and improve the demo build showcased at the exhibition and later release it as an updated Steam demo build. I kindly ask for your understanding and continued anticipation.

More details regarding the booth location and event information will be shared in a separate announcement soon.

Thank you, as always, for your patience and support.
I hope to see many of you at the event soon!

Sincerely, RasEn
