How do I opt-in to a Beta and download it?

Once the Beta is live, you can opt-in and download the Beta branch on Steam by following the instructions below:

1. Open your Steam client and go to your Library.

2. Right-click on Total War: ROME II and select 'Properties'.

3. Navigate to the ‘Game Versions & Betas’ tab.

4. In the list, select ‘pantheon’

5. Steam will then download the necessary files and begin the patching process to install the beta

The download is relatively small at 19.6 MB.Please note that the use of mods with the Beta can and will lead to unexpected results.

How do I share feedback?

1. Download and play the pantheon beta on Steam using the steps above

2. Share it on our forums in the dedicated area for it here.

3. There are threads set up to gather feedback on specific areas, as well as a space for gathering bug reports.

What are you going to do with my feedback?

While the first beta is live I will be reading and gathering your feedback to make changes for the second MARS beta.
