Crimson Banner: War of Liberation Demo · published
Zhedong Column’s Northward Withdrawal is now available! This is the third full campaign released for Crimson Banner: War of Liberation. steamhappy
After victory in the War of Resistance, the situation in the Zhedong base area changed abruptly. Facing pursuit and blockade by Nationalist forces, the New Fourth Army’s Zhedong Column must withdraw north across the bay, seeking a path to survival among narrow landing sites, coastal towns, hills, and mountains.
This is not a grand army campaign, but a short, tense, and oppressive breakout operation. Every move, every attack, and every withdrawal route may decide whether your troops can escape the encirclement.
Huangwan Landing — The Zhedong Column lands on the northern shore of Hangzhou Bay, only to encounter enemy pursuit during reconnaissance, while efforts to receive friendly troops take an unexpected turn.
Ganpu Breakout — The second landing echelon, eager to support friendly forces, stumbles into an encirclement. As the noose tightens, concentrate your limited strength, open a breach, break through the blockade, and escape.
Zhedong Column’s Northward Withdrawal is not built around massive campaign scale. Instead, it aims to deliver tighter tactical pressure. Your forces are limited, your room to maneuver is narrow, and enemy pressure will keep closing in. Choosing the breakout direction, deciding which objectives to abandon, and preserving your formations before withdrawal will be the heart of this campaign.
🗺 Experimental 3D Terrain: Terrain elevation is now easier to read, helping you judge the battlefield situation more clearly.
Launch the game now, enter Zhedong Column’s Northward Withdrawal, and break out from the shores of Hangzhou Bay!
