Decryption is out - Lockdowns and Riots are in!

Hey everyone!

This update took a little longer than usual, but it turned into a pretty big demo overhaul.

Decryption has been removed from the demo. After a lot of iteration and feedback, I felt it was interrupting the main flow too much, so I’ve replaced it with new systems that fit the core gameplay better.

New in this update: Lockdowns and Riots.

Recovery has also been removed and replaced with Heat. Missions now generate heat in the city where they’re completed. Push a city too hard and it may lock down or break into riots. You can resolve these events manually, or let them pass over time while reducing heat.

This should make the game flow feel smoother, while adding more risk and decision-making around where you focus your operations.

I’ve also added new upgrades, reworked upgrade tracks, adjusted pricing around these new systems, and modified several talents to better support the new flow.

There’s also some cool stuff coming up soon, including voiceovers for the Director, which I’m really excited about.

Feedback is very welcome, especially since this changes the demo pacing quite a bit.

- Ignace

Community4 Sep 2026New Gamemodes coming soon!Hey everyone! I know I've been quiet for a while, but I didn't manage to get as much time making my own projects as I would've hoped. However, there is a big update coming soon. I've been working hard on new game modes, one of which will be coming soon! I've been prototyping several, and this one I have been enjoying particularly much so it's the first one I'm bringing to you, it's called "Surv…The Syndicate: ClassifGame update7 Aug 2026Heat increase vs Intel gains improvementHey everyone! Several people have noted that the scaling feels off once you unlock the world promotion. This is because the heat upgrades were too cheap vs how much "benefit" they provide which ends up outpacing earnings completely. The goal of heat was to mainly buy the upgrades when you're feeling like you're getting bombarded with events rather than preemtively taking it and ending up feelin…The Syndicate: ClassifGame update7 Aug 2026Achievements tracker addedHey everyone! As requested by many, I've added an achievement tracker in the settings UI so you can track your progress and all your completed / incomplete achievements. Enjoy! -Ignace
