Apart from that...
We know you guys know this, but sometimes working on this game feels like we're on a road that just keeps going and going, and we can't see the end of it.
As we've said before, we fully intend on completing the game, no matter what it takes, but we are fighting against burnout and a lack of funds for the continued development. Early Access isn't like Patreon, for better or for worse. If we could go back in time, knowing what we know now (about development, about STEAM, about the process, etc), we'd absolutely have aimed for doing a full release, instead of Early Access. Ah, well. It had seemed like a good idea at the time.
The burnout is real guys. So....
To fight the burnout (and ideally get some additional funds for LT's continued development), we're taking a small detour to make a short adventure in the Vagyren world, this time without the missteps we took in developing Vaygren LT.
Lust & Ledgers: A Vaygren Tale is a more streamlined game, designed to sidestep most of the issues that slow down LT's development. We're entering the game and demo into this upcoming Steam Next, so go and Wishlist it! It would help us a lot!
TO BE CLEAR, this will be a FULL GAME upon release, not Early Access. We're not taking on another project that feels like it has no end. Lust & Ledgers will be a one and done release, and we're continuing to work on LT alongside it.
