SKILLS. Ten of them Sourcing, Chemistry, Logistics, Laundering, Muscle, Forgery, Contacts, Smuggling, Negotiation, Standing. They level off things you are already doing rather than a separate screen, so four bars start moving inside the first six seconds.
Each one has a guide with six named unlocks. Click a skill to read what arrives at which level, what you have already earned, and what is next.
WORK ON THIS. Pick a skill to focus and it trains at double rate while everything else slows to 60%. A trade, not a free bonus.
ONE SECTION AT A TIME. There is now a section list down the side and one thing on the stage at a time, with a badge wherever a decision is sitting unmade. Plus a new INVENTORY screen: what you are holding, what a unit is worth and why, and the full grade ladder.
If you already have a save, your skills are seeded from what you had achieved. You are not starting at level 1 in ten skills after thirty hours.
Fixes
The two tutorial orders could both complete in three seconds on a price bounce, so you never actually saw the flood or the recovery. They now require the thing to genuinely happen.
Rivals could strip five markets down to one in thirty minutes of unattended play, which made leaving the game running worse than closing it. They now take one market at a time.
Fonts are bundled, so the game runs entirely offline and makes no network requests at all.
The wipe save button now asks first.
Seven more random events, for eleven total.
