It has been roughly a week since the release and I am very thankful for everybody playing, giving feedback and writing reviews!
Within the community feedback some things have been mentioned several times and this patch tries to address that.
In general
1: The overall performance, especially on weaker CPUs should be better now.
2: Some prefer a laid back idle experience while others wished for more data insight. I included two new toggles so that everybody has the experience they desire. One makes the chat much less noisy by hiding the gnomes shelving activity. The other one adds a counter to the main screen for how many books are currently on the floor. When the second toggle is enabled you can also see how much percent a shelve is filled.
Regarding the Speedrunning Achievement
Before acting too fast, I really wanted to see what different people think. While around 10% of you have been fine with the current speed cap, others seemed to struggle really hard. While it is intended that you need strategy and active gameplay to be able achieve it, it also shouldn't feel unfair.
1: I removed the RNG for customer appearances. If one is able to finish the game in a certain time, you can too.
2: Certain types of customers appear earlier in the game. Although I don't want to spoil what the condition for them spawning is (that is for you to discover), they do now a notch earlier, giving you more time to earn money.
2: Players with a weaker CPU have a slight disadvantage due to some physic stuff being run slower. The new performance enhancement makes this less impactful.
In a nutshell: Before I balanced the game in a way so that a good strategy would land you roughly around the 90 minute mark. The new balancing gives you around 10 minutes extra spare time. I hope this is a good middle ground for everybody.
