Hi everyone,

Patch 1.0.5 for Titanic Escape Simulator™ is now live.

This is one of our biggest updates so far, focused on graphics, performance, movement, Free Roam, stability, and many fixes reported by players.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to send feedback, bug reports, screenshots, videos, and technical details. Your reports help us improve the game with each update.

Graphics and Performance

  • Added AMD FSR upscaling and AMD FSR 2X frame generation.

  • Added an in-game restart prompt when switching between AMD and NVIDIA frame generation.

  • Fixed frame-generation settings not saving correctly between sessions.

  • Prioritized supported NVIDIA frame-generation options on NVIDIA hardware.

  • Improved illumination from rose and reception light fixtures.

  • Fixed lights remaining illuminated in the Level 3 flashlight corridor.

  • Improved combination-lock number readability under texture-streaming pressure.

  • Removed the freezing screen overlay while retaining cold-weather gameplay.

Movement and Progression

  • Fixed movement becoming locked after the first Guggenheim conversation in the bath house.

  • Fixed dialogue and notebook transitions leaving movement unresponsive or stuck walking forward.

  • Improved doorway and threshold collision throughout the bath house, cargo area, Scotland Road, and several story locations.

  • Reduced snagging on narrow passages and raised door sills.

  • Fixed floor clipping when standing after certain scripted sequences.

  • Improved spiral-stair clearance in Level 7.

  • Fixed Level 7 objectives and interactions failing to start.

  • Fixed the player incorrectly starting with an axe instead of collecting it during the story.

  • Fixed crouched players becoming stuck on objects and railings when trying to walk off an edge.

Characters and Animation

  • Fixed Pumball jittering, clipping through the bath-house floor, and appearing to sit on an invisible chair.

  • Fixed several characters appearing partially embedded in the floor during scripted scenes.

  • Reduced stuttering in character animations.

  • Fixed missing or disappearing player eyebrows.

  • Removed an unintended pistol from a seated NPC in Level 2.

Free Roam

  • Added a day and night cycle to Free Roam.

  • Restored missing walls, floors, ceilings, and furnishings around the third-class forward and aft stairs.

  • Fixed visible gaps around the lower stairs.

  • Improved clearance when walking up and down the aft stairs.

  • Fixed NPC clothing, hats, and facial hair failing to follow character animations correctly.

  • Improved rendering compatibility to reduce the risk of a crash when loading Free Roam.

Story and Dialogue

  • Revised the opening dialogue for improved story accuracy.

  • Corrected “Capitan” to “Captain” in dialogue and objectives.

  • Clarified the Level 6 objective directing players to shoot the red box near the door.

Stability

  • Addressed startup crashes related to frame-generation initialization.

  • Improved stability when ending play sessions.

Thank You

We know the game still has areas that need improvement, and we are continuing to work through player feedback step by step.

Patch 1.0.5 is a major part of that process, and we will keep monitoring reports as more players update and continue their voyage.

Thank you for playing, reporting issues, and helping us improve Titanic Escape Simulator™.

Patch 1.0.5 is available now.
