We're still hard at work on Crime Scene Cleaner: Biohazard, and today we wanted to give you a closer look at one of the main mechanics that will make this cleanup unlike anything you've dealt with before. In this DLC you will tackle a new kind of mess - highly contagious substance called Chernoxide. It can spread, build up, and affect you directly, meaning you'll have to think about more than just what's in front of you.
Coming into contact with contaminated areas can cause contamination to build up in your lungs. The more contaminated you become, the more it will affect your movement and cleaning speed. Keep an eye on your moves and avoid unnecessary exposure!
A protective mask can keep you safe from contaminated areas, but it won't last forever. The mask gradually wears down while protecting you, so you'll need to keep an eye on its condition.
Contamination isn't static. It can dynamically spread throughout the environment, meaning that previously safe areas can become hazardous over time. And be careful when moving contaminated objects - you might be carrying the problem somewhere it wasn't before.
Managing the spread of contamination will be just as important as cleaning it up. Plan your route, protect yourself, and don't let Chernoxide take over your surroundings.
While we're still working on the final look of the contamination, we've prepared a few different variants for you to check out. Let us know in the comments which one you think fits best!
We notice your excitement all over social media and thank you for your patience. Be on the lookout for more news coming!
