Early playtesters gave us a clear note: the practice table teaches the basics well, but some of you walked away with questions — how exactly the scoring works, what the rest of the action cards do, and where to look something up in the middle of a run.
That's exactly the feedback we want. Here's what we did about it.
A sharper tutorial
- The practice floor now spells out the scoring math at the moment your first big chain pays out: every card scores ( Chips × Boost ), and your combo grows the Boost with every link.
- A new beat covers the full action-card family — 2s, Queens, and Aces — so the tempo game is on the table from your very first hand.
- Clearing the practice floor now points you straight at the new Rulebook, so nothing you learned gets lost.
The Rulebook
A 10-page reference that's always one press away, in Settings and the pause menu:
- The full scoring formula, with a worked example you can follow digit by digit
- Drawing vs. combo — the round's core decision, explained straight
- The Gift Shop economy and what each shelf is really for
- Card enhancements with their exact odds — yes, including the one that shatters
- The tower: floors, boss tables, the difficulty ladder, and After Hours
Every number in the Rulebook is pulled live from the game's own data, so it always matches how the game actually plays — patch after patch.
The update is live now on the full game and the demo, in all 31 supported languages.
Keep the feedback coming. We read everything — and as you can see, we act on it.
