This is my first Steam post, so I wanted to share a little about why I made Tap To Travel.
I love maps, travelling, pixel art, and games that don’t demand your full attention. I wanted to combine those things into a small desktop companion that makes everyday computer use a bit more fun.
Choose a destination, then carry on with your day. Every key press and mouse click moves your traveller one metre closer. Along the way, you earn coins, open chests, collect new characters and companions, and visit new countries.
There’s still plenty I’d like to improve. I want to add more country-themed collectibles, make the world feel more alive with better weather effects, improve performance, and explore trading between players (Steam Inventory).
Thanks for checking out Tap To Travel.
If you try it, I’d really like to hear what you think and what you’d like to see next.
See you on the map! 🌍
