Welcome Creators!

We’re excited to officially launch the RagNext Studio Steam page!

What is RagNext Studio?

RagNext is built for indie developers, game designers, and storytellers who want to bridge the gap between initial game design and playable builds. Whether you're mapping out complex narrative branches, running simulations, or rapid-prototyping mechanics, RagNext gives you a dedicated visual workspace to bring ideas to life—without getting bogged down in boilerplate engine setup.

Core Features at a Glance:

  • Visual Workspace: Design room logic, character databases, items, and global variables in a structured desktop environment.

  • Seamless Engine Integration: Built using Avalonia and paired with flexible templates to export directly to Unity for Windows, Mac, Linux, and WebGL.

  • Built-in Simulation & Testing: Test complex game logic and runs within the tool before exporting.

What’s Next?

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing regular devlogs highlighting:

  1. Deep Dives on Key Tools: Room Editors, Logic Graphs, and Data Binding.

  2. Unity Template Workflows: How to quickly go from a RagNext project to a playable Unity build.

  3. Playtest & Beta Details: Opportunities for early access testing and feedback.

How You Can Help
