Your own base, anywhere in the galaxy

Travel to any body outside the starter systems and lay the foundations for 5,000 each of Ingots, Refined crystals, High end crystals, Propulsors and Nanoconductors. The body type you pick grants a permanent 10% XP bonus to one activity for as long as the base stays there: Battling, Gathering, Crafting or Exploring. And you never have to go back for it. Modules are used, upgraded and collected from anywhere in the galaxy.

Eleven modules, and a tree to open

Modules open one at a time, paid in Stellarium, and each unlock costs more than the last.

  • Stellarium miner: your first module and the heart of the base. It produces the Stellarium that unlocks and tiers up everything else.
  • Resource miner: produces the gathering resources you choose.
  • Material generator: produces the materials you choose.
  • Metal scrap generator: produces Metal Scrap.
  • Fuel facility: refuels your ship and your Voyager.
  • Craftron 3000: turns Metal Scrap into crafting XP.
  • Quantum server: produces Quantum Cores.
  • Research lab: raises your chance of finding Anomalies while battling.
  • Item booster: turns a crafted item into an Anomalous one.
  • Laboratory enhancer: extra output on everything your Laboratory produces.
  • Battling Trainer: multiplies the PvP badges you earn.

Every module upgrades in two directions: level, paid with that module's materials, and tier, paid only with Stellarium. Passive modules run on an upkeep charged in credits, and clearing your daily quests covers most of that bill.

Four new Laboratory buildings

  • Aeroforge: Aerolite

  • Cryovault: Cryovita

  • Ferric Mill: Ferricrystal

  • Prism Nexus: Luminaris

These four are what your base modules level up with, and what PvP gear upgrades are paid in.

PvP gear upgrades

Your four PvP gear pieces can now be upgraded. Each piece adds the stat you pick for it to your clones, and they carry that setup into both Squadron battles and the PvP Arena.

  • Level: paid with the piece's own Laboratory material. Helmet takes Aerolite, Armor takes Cryovita, Fists take Ferricrystal and Legs take Luminaris.
  • Tier: paid with PvP badges, and raises what every level is worth.

Your crafting level scales every piece on top of that, so a crafter brings stronger gear into the same fight.

And around the rest of the game

  • New technology skill: Base module efficiency boost, multiplicative on top of every module's output.

  • New catalyst stat: Base upkeep reduction, which now drops and can be crafted.

  • Anomaly is obtainable and tradeable on the market.

  • New Base Building categories in Rankings and Achievements.
