Update #5: Better tutorials

New

  • "How to Play" tutorial — four illustrated screens covering the goal, what a bid actually claims, how raising works, and when to call Liar or Spot On. Two of them are hands-on: practise a raise and try both calls with nothing at stake.
  • It opens by itself the first time you play, and it's always there from the main menu and the pause menu.
  • Solo matches now start with three opponents already at the table. You used to have to add them by hand before you could begin.
  • Your first three matches are against the gentlest opponents, so you can learn without being eaten alive. Random opponents after that.
  • Bid history down the left of the screen: who bid what, in order, so you don't have to hold the round in your head before calling Liar.

Fixes

  • The end-of-round banner said "loses a die" even when the Double Down event cost two.

It defaults to 60, so the game no longer runs your GPU at full load just to render a dice table. This should noticeably lower GPU usage and heat. · Fixed VSync being reset whenever you changed the graphics quality preset. · Fixed the volume sliders doing nothing while you were in the main menu.BardoGame update13 Jul 2026Update #3: Take your timeTurn Timer · The turn timer can now be turned Off — slide it past either end of the range to disable it entirely. · In solo and private lobbies the timer now defaults to Off. Public lobbies keep the 30-second default so nobody can hold a match hostage. · Timer options are now fixed steps: 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45 or 60 seconds.
