Anvil United! - a very first message

We believe that games are supposed to be fun. This means allowing you, the Player, the ability to enjoy it with friends, cooperate with them, compete for rewards and, sometimes, kicking them straight into a lava pit. Without a reason.

Hey, its hollywood, baby. <wink>

With this in mind, one evening around midnight, after another crazy session of Overcooked, we were thinking:

- Dude, wouldn't it be awesome if instead of working in a kitchen we could do some manly stuff"?

- You mean like laundry?

- That's a good idea too actually... but no. I was thinking more like forging medieval weaponry.

- That'd be cool.

So we sat down and after a few days of prototyping we had a first playable version of "overcooked with crafting". The gameloop was a "no brainer" and after picking up the controller, anyone who spent 1-2 minutes with the game knew what to do.

After ironing out controls and gameplay we are certain, that deciding to make Anvil United! was a good idea and we decided to pursue it further.

We are only at the beginning of our journey. There's a lot of work and variables awaiting us in the future.

At the same time, we are confident that Anvil United! will create a lot of fun and crazy memorable moments once its ready and available on Steam. We invite you to take this journey with us, share your thoughts with us to shape Anvil United! to be the best couch co-op party game ever!

There are more updates coming where we will share our vision for the game, the plan and features. Write you soon
