Update About the Future of the Game

Hi everyone,

At some point during development, I realized that I had taken on a much bigger project than I could realistically finish on my own (This was my 1st project on Unity). Like many solo developers, I eventually had to choose between continuing full-time development and earning a living. Unfortunately, paying the bills had to come first.

I'm fully aware of the game's shortcomings, and I still see its potential. I believe it could become a much stronger experience with additional game modes and a more focused gameplay loop. However, I can't commit to that work right now, so development is being put on hold for an indefinite period.

Because of that, I don't feel it's right to continue charging money for the game in its current early alpha state. That's why I'll be making it free to play, so anyone who's curious can try it.

I'd like to thank everyone who supported the project, gave feedback, or simply gave it a chance. I truly appreciate it and hope you'll understand my attempt to take on something bigger than I was ready for.

The game is planned to become free after July 14, 2026, pending Valve's approval.

If you've already purchased the game, you'll continue to own it as before. Thank you for supporting the project.

— Dudindie

It should now run smoothly even on low-end systems. For example, during testing on my 7-year-old laptop (with one fan disconnected and the GTX 1050 disabled), the game held a stable 60 FPS at start and goes worse with 200+ zombies lurking on the map. · Weapon recoil an…News25 Mar 2025Roughly Access to ZOMBIEFIELDWelcome In the Field! First of all, a big thank you to everyone for showing interest in the project! While it’s still a bit rough around the edges, that’s how great things start. As we all know, a community creates great games, and this project has the same goals. I’m truly excited to finally share what I’ve been working on, paying attention to even the smallest details. The game is friendly to…
