The Nightling Invasion will be available in a preview on a newly created Public Test Branch starting June 23rd.
We know you've been waiting for this update, and we originally planned to release it by the end of June. However, our priority is to ensure the best possible quality and server stability. To achieve that, we're running this preview phase before rolling the update out to everyone.
Mysterious portals known as Rifts have begun appearing across the land, opening pathways to the wicked world of Niflel. Brave adventurers who enter must survive increasingly dangerous waves of demonic enemies and face powerful foes emerging from beyond the veil.
The Nightlings are invading Siagarta in the hope of pushing back the newly arrived humans, and it's up to you to stop their advance! Every few hours, you'll receive a warning that a Rift has opened somewhere in Siagarta. These events support up to 16 players and feature many new enemies to face, along with unique bosses known as Nightkings. Rewards from the rift will become available later in the beta following the first player feedback on the world event. We'll also adjust the balancing of the experience following your feedback!

How Can I Join?
The Major Update Preview will start in a newly created Public Test Branch available to Farever players. Once it is available, you'll be able to access it by following these steps:
Right-click Farever in your Steam Library.
Select Properties → Betas.
Choose the Public Beta Branch.
Will I Keep My Characters?
When you connect for the first time, you'll have access to your existing characters. Once you begin playing on the beta branch, those characters will progress independently from their live-server counterparts. What's the goal of the preview?
The preview will allow us to have early impressions and focus on better performances regarding the rifts. We will also use your feedback and experience to adjust the balancing and rewards coming from it. How Can I Report Feedback or Bugs?
Dedicated feedback channels will be available on both Steam and Discord for discussing the content. We also encourage players to keep content from the preview out of general community channels to avoid spoiling the experience for those waiting for the live release. (You are still free to stream and share content on your own channels.) How Long Will the Preview Last?
The preview will remain available until we're confident that its content and balance are ready for the live servers. The Public Test Branch will remain afterward for future balancing tests and early content previews. See you for the Playable Preview Farseekers!
