Thank you so much for all the love for Lil Silvy! So many current players and positive reviews is crazy. It makes us unbelievably happy!
We've received valuable feedback and bug reports on both the Steam Community forums and Silvervale's Discord server (join here) and we've prepared some bug fixes and improvements for you!
Now we need your help with testing a new build to make sure we're not introducing new bugs.
You can access the beta branch by right-clicking on the game in steam and clicking on Properties.
Then in the Betas tab click on the Beta Participation dropdown and select the beta branch!
Here's the changelist for now:
FIXES:
- Fixed UI not switching side properly when game scale is high.
- Fixed Statistics gauges being hidden behind UI when game scale is low.
- Fixed chat panel being outside of the screen when lil Silver is too high on the screen.
- Fixed game being weirdly transparent and unplayable when Steam overlay is shown.
- Added more logs to bug catching to try and find out why lil Silvy stops doing anything sometimes.
IMPROVEMENTS:
- Chat now closes automatically after 15 seconds.
- Added a bug report menu with a handy "show me the log file" button.
- Added backgrounds which can be toggled in Settings (can't make the window transparent for Linux/Steam deck but it's better than all black).
- Added buttons to open folder in memories UI and looking at wallpapers.
- Changed statistics gauges text and chat name to be more readable on bright background.
- Added a toggle to disable Phys Bones to save some CPU.
- Added a setting to limit FPS when the game is not focused to save both CPU and GPU. This limit cannot be disabled, but it can be set to a high amount to be mostly ignored.
