Grim Siege Playtest · published · build 25135028

Over 100 new cards: 69 free for everyone, the Legacy of the Fallen pack (16 artifacts) and the Horrifyingly Horrible Horror pack (18 cards).
Cards now have tags (Human, Undead, Golem, Artifact, God and more), and card effects refer to them.
Card rarity: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary. The diamond on a card shows its rarity, the rank is written as a Roman numeral.
The pool of cards available to every player from the start has grown from 99 to about 160.
Card crafting in the deck builder for dust and rubies.
Decks: at least 20 cards of each school and 75 in total. Decks can be larger than 75, up to every card you own.
Might: active cards are placed on the table (two slots, a new one pushes out the oldest) and work for several turns or charges. 16 artifacts and 6 free cards: The Cold, Bone Sowing, Calamity, Tactical Edge, War Tribute, Herald of the Cult.
New statuses: Ward blocks an incoming curse (up to 3 charges), Madness weakens a card in your hand every turn and stacks like Rot (Cleanse does not work while you are under it), Wall Ban shuts down wall building.
Undead: Raise Dead, Ossuary, Grave Call, Necromancy, Bone Chime, Bone Sowing and Skeletiks that get mixed into the enemy's deck.
Token cards land in your hand by someone else's will: Worm, Spider Egg, Brother, Elder, Rebel, Rustle.
Buffing cards in hand: Colossal Sword, Titanic Bow and Muscle Boost let you pick a card in your hand as the target; Sprinkling and Fracture weaken random enemy cards; Risen Cultists empower the Undead in your hand.
Messenger and Blood Prophet reveal your next three draws, and one of them can be crossed out. Eye of the Sleeping God turns each draw into a choice between two cards. Immaculate Maiden brings rank 4 cards.
Delayed events (Ghost Wall, Skeleton Warriors, Ghost Squad), temporary income (Roads, Exhaustion), banning cards from the deck (Funeral Bell), card swapping (Temptress), and Old Veteran with the Elder.
Discard token: once every two turns you can discard a card without ending your turn.
Draw: a played card stays out of your draws for 20 of your turns, a discarded one for 7, one swapped at the start for 5. Income, attack and build guarantees keep your hand from getting stuck.
Rank ladder: Neophyte, Acolyte, Cultist, Possessed, Hierophant, Inquisitor, Eternal (500 rating each, with five stages inside). The top 100 players at 3000+ receive the Voice of the Abyss title with their number.
Matches against the AI now grant gold and experience (awarded by the server): up to 10 rewards a day, and matches shorter than a minute do not count. The tutorial grants a one-time 500 gold.
Wallet: Silver Dust and Blood Rubies. Your profile now shows a history of recent matches.
Battle log: a journal that breaks down every number (base value, class bonuses, offerings, buffs), the result on the wall and tower, Rot and Madness ticks, resources and statuses.
Resource panel: school icons, income with its sign, offering buttons that slide out on hover and glow when you can afford the offering. Mana counters for both players.
Might cards are shown above both players' panels with their remaining turns and charges. The history of played cards shows each card with the buffs it was played with.
