🪵 The Sawmill Is Here! - New Hotfix #36 & Free Update

Hello Prospectors!

We've got something many of you have been asking for...

The Sawmill is finally here! 🪵

We've just released another hotfix, but this update also introduces a brand-new feature that has been one of the most requested additions from our community. You can now unlock your very own Sawmill and start producing a steady supply of wood!

🪵 Your Own Sawmill

The Sawmill gives you access to a reliable source of wood, one of the most useful resources in Alaska Gold Fever.

But first, you'll have to earn it!

🪚 Talk to the Carpenter

To unlock the Sawmill, you'll need to complete a quest from the Carpenter.

The quest becomes available after completing the third main story quest – "Stop by and take a rest."

Once you've completed the Carpenter's quest, you'll gain access to the Sawmill located right next to his workshop.

🔨 Build It Up First

Getting the Sawmill up and running won't be completely free. You'll need to gather wood and other resourcesand put some work into getting the building ready.

But trust us - it'll be worth it!
Once your Sawmill is operational, you won't have to constantly search the wilderness for wood.

📦 Fresh Wood Every Day!

After unlocking the Sawmill, wood will be generated automatically every in-game day.

Just visit the Sawmill, open its storage chest, and collect your freshly produced wood whenever you need it.

No more running around Alaska looking for every last tree! 🌲

🏗️ And There's More to Come!

This is just the beginning for the Sawmill.

We're planning to expand and develop this feature even further in the upcoming Homecoming Update, with more functionality and new ways to make use of your Sawmill.

So consider today's version the first step in what the Sawmill will eventually become!

Alongside the Sawmill, today's update also includes another round of fixes and improvements to make your adventures across Alaska smoother.

• Added a Sawmill that automatically collects wood for the player, unlocked by a new mission.
• Optimized the physics of animal loot interactions.
• Optimized the VFX for collapsing mine walls.
• Optimized the rendering of mine walls.
• Increased the interactions for collecting animal loot.
