You and your combat-ready compatriots will be able to battle every bandit, monster, and wild boss fight included in the base game, including free post-launch additions like Circle of Slaughter mode. If you're joining friends who already own Borderlands 4 and a DLC Vault Hunter (including Loveless the Hacker***), they'll still be able to play as their DLC Vault Hunter, but your party will be limited to missions included in the free-to-play base game content.
If you purchase any edition of Borderlands 4 on the same platform after the Free Play Weekend ends, all your progress and loot will be saved so you can pick up right where you left off. During the Free Play Weekend, you can also take advantage of Cross-Platform Saves, letting you seamlessly continue your Vault Hunters' adventures across the different platforms where you own Borderlands 4 using your free SHiFT Account.
