First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who has played Venusville and taken the time to send feedback, report bugs, and share your experiences.
The Prologue has already helped uncover a lot of issues that I simply couldn't have found on my own, and several of the problems reported by players are now fixed in this update.
Here’s what’s new:
• Fixed a bug that could prevent the game from saving correctly.
• Fixed a save corruption issue.
• Added a recovery process for old 2.11 saves, including recovery of corrupted save files.
• Added a new save indicator to the UI.
• Fixed an issue where rapidly clicking the demolish button could cause robots to get stuck. • Fixed an issue where removing a building or interior while it was under construction could cause robots to get stuck.
• Recharge Pads and Repair Pads are now also properly restored when loading a game.
• Fixed an exploit that allowed some domes to be removed while they still contained interiors.
• Fixed an issue when interiors floated slightly above the ground in loaded games
• Added a new interior indicator showing when the output space is low or blocked. New Indicator
• Atmos Factories now properly resume Chemical or Iron production after loading a save.
• Balloon colliders now resize correctly, fixing an issue where deflated balloons could interfere with building selection.
• Added a new L-shaped Corner Dome! Corner L-shaped Dome
• Added support for a high ultrawide resolution, 3840x1600.
• Fixed a bug when refresh rate setting was ignored because v-sync
• UI layout now rearranges to make better use of the wider screen space on ultrawide monitors. • Added an “Active 1/3” style indicator to the Atmos Miner, making it easier for new players to understand how many gases we are currently mining and help them get their SO₂ production running. :)
• Added tooltips for required resources for under construction buildings and interiors.
• Updated recipes and improved the in-game Wiki.
There are still things being worked on, but this update is a big step toward making the Prologue smoother and more reliable.
Thank you again for all the feedback. Every bug report, suggestion, and “hey, this doesn't seem right” message helps me improve the game.
And yes... some of you managed to find bugs I didn't even know were possible. 😅
More updates coming soon!
