Congratulations to all Astroneers aboard the ESS Starseeker for not only completing the Life's a Beach Region Rally but even completing the first stretch goal! We have another Community Challenge that's currently underway, so have a look!
A few troublesome bugs have popped up following the release of the Sinking Reef Update, so we're issuing a few bug fixes and changes to address them.
This Hotfix addresses some funkiness that was happening for a number of encounters during Expeditions. Bog Hounds should no longer attack you telepathically or in ghostly invisible forms. Hazards and wreckage should also be responsive again. We also addressed a couple more issues and removed Missions that were never finished or intended to be added to the game, so apologies on any confusion that might have caused.
AG-17822 – Fixed an issue that could result in a number of encounters to spawn in a broken state, resulting in unresponsive and/or invisible creatures and hazards.
AG-17382 – Fixed an issue that was preventing uncompleted Missions from the State of Flux Community Challenge from being cleared from your list of active Missions following the end of the event.
AG-19092 – Removed defunct unfinished Missions that at one point were intended to be associated with the Fungal Depths Region and were mistakenly made available with the Sinking Reef Update.
AG-19120 – Removed a Malfunctioning Demolition Device that could spawn within range of a Landing Site in the Sinking Reef Region.
Due to a bug, the “Cultural Exchange: Elysium Science Lab” Task, available during the Pulp Friction Community Challenge, cannot be completed.
