With this update, we turned our attention toward our Champions, specifically those we felt were underperforming a bit in this current day and age of Extreme questing and spacefaring monsters. Below is a summary of the upcoming changes.
Hemma was meant to be a “damage-dealer” kind of Champion, but as time moves on we do see that Champions are having a hard time competing with Heroes in terms of stopping power. To empower Hemma in this a bit niche archetype, we’ve made the following changes:
Hemma now drains vitality from all her allies, and adds the amount of HP drained as Attack for herself, that is in addition to the bonus Attack from each drain that she had before. She also heals for the amount of HP drained.
New skill values:
Tier 1: +20% HP for the party, Drains 8% HP per Ally, +30% Attack per Drain
Tier 2: +30% HP for the party, Drains 8% HP per Ally, +50% Attack per Drain
Tier 3: +40% HP for the party, Drains 8% HP per Ally, +75% Attack per Drain
Tier 4: +50% HP for the party, Drains 8% HP per Ally, +100% Attack per Drain
There is a +400% Attack limit for Hemma’s Skill.
With a ‘niche’ similar to Hemma, Donovan’s starting concept was to draw on a varied party to provide buffs. For this first pass we are simply increasing these numbers a bit in order to make him a bit more competitive.
New skill values:
Tier 1: +5% bonus Attack to the party for each Spellcaster, +7% HP to the party for each Fighter, +4% Critical Hit Chance & Evasion for each Rogue.
Tier 2: +10% bonus Attack to the party for each Spellcaster, +8% HP to the party for each Fighter, +5% Critical Hit Chance & Evasion for each Rogue.
Tier 3: +15% bonus Attack to the party for each Spellcaster, +9% HP to the party for each Fighter, +7% Critical Hit Chance & Evasion for each Rogue.
Tier 4: +20% bonus Attack to the party for each Spellcaster, +12% HP to the party for each Fighter, +10% Critical Hit Chance & Evasion for each Rogue.
Nothing major for Rudo, but we have seen the feedback that in the current quest landscape, 4 rounds just doesn’t cut it anymore. His Critical Hit Chance bonuses to the party are the same but now last a bit longer.
Changes:
Tier 2: +40% Critical Hit Chance for 3 rounds, up from 2 rounds.
Tier 3: +50% Critical Hit Chance for 4 rounds, up from 3 rounds.
Tier 4: +50% Critical Hit Chance for 6 rounds, up from 4 rounds.
We’ll be keeping an eye out on the impact of all these changes in the upcoming updates!
