Hi, Prospectors!
We have a big update in the works, and we want to share a small snippet of what’s in store. Today, we’re showing off the fancy upgrades coming to the Blockpedia, designed to make crafting your dream Tech build more straightforward than ever. We call it the Codex.
The Blockpedia is already a powerful tool - a prospector’s one stop shop for vital information on every single Block in the game. If you’ve discovered a new Block on a run, this is where you dive in for the lowdown on its stats and tags. The new Codex will take you deeper, providing rapid access to everything you need to know about each weapon tag, type and property in the game. Plus, the Codex empowers you to explore the various temporary buffs you can find in bases during your runs, opening fresh possibilities for hyper-focused builds that stack the odds in your favour.
We’re hopeful that this will provide more clarity around weapon tags and avoid misconceptions about different buff behaviours. The Codex module will also make tracking your in-game progress far clearer, showing the objectives you have unlocked stars from and which objectives are waiting to be completed.
Looks pretty cool too, we think you’ll agree!
We know there are certain stats you’re keen to track, particularly how many Legion bots you’ve taken down, so we’ve added a new Global Stats tab. It’s packed with detailed information for players who love digging into the numbers and learning more about their playstyle.
Finally, every self‑respecting rogue‑lite needs a run history…and now you’ve got one! It’s the perfect place to reflect on your builds, strategies, and Block picks across previous missions - reliving what led to glorious victory or fiery failure. It even includes a Tech Snapshot, so you can revisit your Tech designs and figure out exactly what clicked…and what didn’t.
The Codex will be dropping alongside a host of other tasty upgrades and improvements, and we can’t wait for you to get hands-on. We don’t have an exact ETA just yet, but we’re aiming to get this implemented in the next few months.
Until next time, Prospectors!
