Starting this month, we'll be sharing a monthly update on how development of Erehwon is going.
We're developing Erehwon with the goal of releasing it in 2026.
Work on the game's features is nearly complete, and those features will be coming to the demo soon.
Right now, we're building new dungeons to expand the overall volume of the game.
Whether a release this year is possible will be decided in early November 2026, based on how development progresses. We'll report back once that decision is made.
In the near term, we're planning to take part in the following Steam events:
September 14–21, 2026: Party-Based RPG Fest
October 19–26, 2026: Steam Next Fest
We'll share more details on each event as soon as everything is ready.
In the full version, you'll leave Greyhawk Castle behind and set out into a wider world.
As one of the destinations on that journey, we've built a dungeon set in a forest.
Here, you'll explore the woods while battling monsters inspired by plants and animals.
The development notes said, “Elves are vegetables.” I wonder what that means.
We've changed how events are shown on the map, so you can tell at a glance what kind of event is waiting for you.
Some players told us they thought the old marker was a pitfall.
Our first reaction was "No way, really?"... but to make sure the meaning comes across intuitively, we've switched to more specific markers.
We'll keep working on the new dungeons.
The next progress report is planned for next month.
