We express our deepest gratitude to everyone who sent us various feedback with unchanging affection and sharp insight until the very last week. 1. Proposal to Make the Sindri's Treasure Island Summer Bonus Event Permanent (1st Agenda Item)
Since this event, which gives back gWEMIX Pieces, served as the best content for motivating RvR competition, Warriors requested to make it a regular, permanent content.
Answer: We are fully aware of how much Warriors enjoy playing this content. However, permanently distributing gWEMIX Pieces could have a significant impact on in-game inflation and the overall economic balance, making it difficult to offer this as permanent content. Instead, we will review plans to frequently present events that meet Warriors' expectations by utilizing items like Azure Amber or adding various reward systems.
2. Improvement of Global Server Blazon Enhancement and Proposal to Ensure Fairness in YMIR Cup S3 (2nd Place)
Warriors have requested the rapid global implementation of the Blazon enhancement pity system, which was pre-applied to the Korean server, as well as the enhancement of WEMIX PLUS benefits.
Answer: We fully understand the sense of deprivation and the weight of resource consumption experienced by Warriors due to the absence of a pity system. We are currently reviewing appropriate methods and timing so that the Blazon enhancement achievement system applied to the Korean server can also be introduced to global servers. In addition, the reorganization of WEMIX PLUS benefits is also being adjusted in a direction to increase practical utility, and we will inform you as soon as it is confirmed.
3. Item Drop Rate Disclosure and Legendary Equipment Details Disclosure Proposal (3rd Agenda Item)
Warriors requested the explicit statement of Skadi Equipment drop rates, as well as a clear answer regarding value balancing between the upcoming Legendary Equipment and the existing +15 Fenrir Equipment.
Answer: Skadi Equipment is an item with top-tier value, strictly designed to be obtainable only at a limited chance from specific content. The drop rate of such rare equipment is applied equally and fairly to all Warriors without exception. Please understand that disclosing the individual drop rates of specific equipment in detail is difficult due to policy, as it could affect the in-game economic balance and the tension of farming. Instead, we plan to transparently disclose the detailed specs and crafting structure of the new Legendary equipment—which Warriors can set as a new goal in the future—via a letter or patch notes soon. In addition, so that the value of the '+15 Fenrir equipment' previously achieved by Warriors is never pointlessly diminished, we are thoroughly reviewing the balance to grant it a firm role as a key substitute when crafting Legendary equipment and to stably maintain material market prices.
4. Proposal to Add a Bulk Attendee List Entry Feature for Clan Distribution (4th Agenda Item)
Warriors requested a convenience improvement to reduce the workload on Clan Masters and Elders who currently have to search for attendees one by one when distributing items after large-scale raids.
Answer: Improving the convenience of Clan staff who dedicate themselves to the growth of their Clans is an important priority for us. The development team fully understands the significant burden and inconvenience caused by having to search for members manually. We are currently reviewing a new feature that would allow Clan staff to enter or select attendee lists in bulk, making the distribution of Clan resources easier and more convenient. Once the specific direction of this improvement has been finalized, we will provide an update as soon as possible.
5. Proposal to Expand the Uses of Old Keys and Add Golden Key Crafting (5th Agenda Item)
Warriors suggested giving Old Keys, which have lost much of their value after becoming mainly useful for opening Common Chests, additional uses in higher-tier reward events or as crafting materials for higher-tier keys.
Answer: This is an excellent suggestion for allowing surplus resources to be converted into higher-tier items. We plan to introduce new uses for Keys in the near future.
Major Convenience and System Improvement Agenda
Addition of Training Dummies and Dedicated Test Areas for Practicing Skill Combos
Answer: We sincerely appreciate the enthusiasm of Warriors who wish to study the damage rotations of newly acquired classes and practice their own skill combinations and combos. To help you intuitively monitor real-time damage output (DPS) and damage contribution against targets in-game, we are actively considering features such as monster-summoning items and plan to provide an environment where you can freely practice and test your attacks.
Easing the Difficulty of Obtaining Azure Amber Weekly Scrolls
Answer: Rather than directly lowering the prices of scrolls in the Azure Amber Shop, we will review ways to ease the burden of Azure Amber consumption through in-game play and reward events, so that we can substantially relieve the perceived burden on Warriors.
Addition of Conqueror-Exclusive Hunting Grounds upon Server Battler Victory
Answer: Forces that represent their server and achieve victory in fierce combat deserve clear rewards and symbols of honor. We are meticulously designing this idea to link it with the World Siege Battle system, which will be introduced in a future large-scale update, to offer it as an exclusive benefit solely for the victorious forces. Please look forward to it.
Over the past seven weeks, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for the heartfelt criticism, insightful suggestions, and unwavering passion for the game you have shared with us through “Voice of YMIR.”
Although the VOICE OF YMIR campaign comes to a close today, this does not mark the end of our communication with you. The hundreds of valuable contributions you have shared will serve as a clear and unwavering guidepost for Legend of YMIR as we continue moving forward. The suggestions we were unable to implement during the campaign will also remain at the forefront of the development team’s planning notes, where we will continue to revisit and reflect on them.
Going forward, we will continue to listen closely to the voices of our Warriors through the community and various communication channels, and we will strive to make Legend of YMIR a game that speaks through its actions and results.
Thank you.
Sincerely, Kim Sung-hee, Director of Legend of YMIR
