Old World has continued its monthly development, releasing the August update this month, which includes gameplay, balance, and UI improvements. If you missed this update, make sure to keep reading for the full roundup below.

Old World News Recap

The Old World August update is the most recent update and brings a few headline changes. Schemers can be assigned as ambassadors and chancellors in addition to spymasters and agents. There is a new city site number game option, 6 per player, and there is a new player UI option, 'high contrast player colors'.

This update also brings balance changes, like tribute units receiving a 2-turn cooldown if acting on another player's turn. Programming improvements include improved AI character selection and a host of bug fixes.
