To all the porters out there enjoying Photo Mode
A Photo Mode campaign for DEATH STRANDING and DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH is currently underway on the KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS website.
We have been regularly announcing “themes” during the campaign, which everyone can center their photos on. Out of the photos that were taken and submitted, we will be selecting two every month as a “Photo of the Moment.” At the end of the campaign, the 24 photos selected throughout the year will then be gathered and turned into a physical “2027 DEATH STRANDING Official Calendar,” which will be gifted to the photographers who took those shots.
The 2026 campaign marks our third such event, where in the past we have received over 10,000 submissions per year, and we invite our porters on Steam to come join in!
And the current theme is...
A shot of your colorful porter suit or your favorite customized trike? Maybe some fiddling of the color filters? Or perhaps you could make use of DS2’s newly-added Light feature? Color the look of something and make it the centerpiece or use it to accentuate the mood of the shot. The possibilities are limitless!
We’ll be accepting submission for this current theme between the following dates:
AUGUST 21, 2026 - SEPTEMBER 11, 2026

Capture your photograph based on the current theme using only the Photo Mode features available in-game.
(NOTE! Any submissions edited or processed using external tools will be disqualified!)
