V.A.U.L.T. PROTOCOL · published
Over the past week, our team has been heavily focused on improving stability, balance, and overall gameplay quality. Here's a look at everything that has been updated this week.
The Mimic no longer just follows its target.
As it approaches a victim, it can now repeat the last sentence that player spoke near other Operators, making it much harder to distinguish friend from foe.
Its navigation has also been improved. Mimic can now move much more intelligently through doors, ramps, and tight spaces.
The Angler Fish's dash attack has been completely reworked.
Previously, a single dash could wipe out an entire team. Now, while the primary target still takes the full impact, nearby players receive damage based on their distance from the attack.
Dash frequency has also been adjusted, resulting in fairer encounters.
All creatures now navigate ladders and ramps with proper animations.
Creatures attempting to escape or reposition will no longer become stuck in corners.
Fixed a rare issue involving Kedy stealing items from players.
Added new item support for TFrog.
Cosmetics now behave correctly while using Dog Form.
Voice chat settings now function properly while transformed.
The Portable Car system has received several reliability improvements.
Entering the vehicle while it is shrinking no longer causes issues.
Multiple players interacting with the vehicle simultaneously is now handled correctly.
The shrinking animation now only affects the vehicle itself.
The Groan Tube has officially arrived.
Features:
Two unique sound variations
Custom animations
Unlimited uses
Be careful though...
The sounds it produces may attract more than just your teammates.
🦆 Additionally, the Rubber Duck now produces sound when it hits the ground.
Players now properly sit down while using computers.
Market outage notifications during EM Storm events are now displayed correctly for everyone in the lobby.
This was our biggest focus this week.
Improvements include:
Fixed a crash that could occur when leaving a session.
Added protection against black-screen lockups during day transitions.
Players are now properly informed when the host leaves the game.
Connection loss messages now provide more accurate information.
Factory traps now spawn correctly on the ground.
Fixed several collision and stuck spots around the Pod.
Added a new Pod display showing the total value of collected loot.
Fixed several UI issues causing interaction prompts to overlap.
