Loot Gobblin' Together · published · build 24914195

First of all, thank you to everyone who has bought, played, streamed, reviewed, or shared Loot Gobblin' Together since launch
We have been reading your feedback closely, and this update focuses heavily on giving you more control over how you want to play.
We also passed 100 sales, which was our first launch goal. That means the promised PvP mode is officially happening.
Thank you so much for helping us reach it. We are already working on PvP and will begin playtesting it soon.
Before PvP arrives, though, we have a smaller surprise update coming sooner than you might expect. We are keeping the details secret for now, but it will introduce a new way to play Loot Gobblin' Together along with some fitting new cosmetics.
For now, here is everything in the Play Your Way Update.
We heard a lot of feedback from players who wanted more ways to defend themselves.
You could already distract hoomans using TVs, lure cats with fake mice, and distract dogs with balls, but now you have another option when things go wrong:
Knives can now actually be used as weapons.
A proper stab can kill spiders and rats.
Cats will flinch and run away.
Dogs and hoomans can be stunned for a few seconds, giving you time to escape.
Stunning a hooman carrying a captured gobblin will interrupt them, but they will not drop the captive.
Fixed the Spider's poison bite being completely silent. It now has an impact sound.
You can now choose Easy, Normal, or Hard when creating a lobby, making it easier to choose how chaotic you want your heists to be.
For players with arachnophobia, or anyone who simply does not want spiders in their game, you can now remove spiders completely.
Enabling Spider-Free Mode replaces all spiders with rats instead. You can play the full game this way and achievements remain enabled.
Want even more control over your runs? The new Advanced Options menu lets you customize:
Quota length
Extra chances before a run ends
Weight-as-health rules
Random event chances
Spell pacing
Cop response time
AI hearing
Pest pressure
Hooman density
Leaderboard runs still require Normal or Hard difficulty with the default settings.
Hidden Roles also received some new customization options:
Individual roles can now be enabled or disabled.
The maximum game length can now be made shorter.
Stockholm Gobblin now only needs to be jailed once to win.
Fixed captured players sometimes becoming impossible to rescue when placed inside an oven or other enclosed prop.
Fixed two captured players being able to occupy the same capture point.
Fixed dead bodies permanently blocking capture points.
Hoomans now vary which capture point they use instead of always heading toward the same one.
Fixed hoomans freezing during their grab animation when trying to pick up a ragdolled player.
Fixed carried ragdolled players spinning or glitching near capture points.
Fixed hoomans getting stuck or circling while carrying players through doorways.
Hoomans now close ajar cabinets, cupboards, and drawers when they block their path.
Hoomans can now nudge small loose objects out of their way.
Added a maximum time limit to individual carry attempts to prevent hoomans getting stuck indefinitely.
Fixed the scroll evidence objective sometimes spawning too few pieces.
Fixed scroll pieces occasionally spawning inside geometry.
Fixed the objective becoming impossible to complete if a scroll piece was lost.
Fixed some upstairs areas preventing gobblins from sucking up loot correctly.
Thank you again for playing Loot Gobblin' Together and for all the feedback since launch.
The Play Your Way Update is available now.
PvP is coming.
And before that, there is one more little surprise on the way.
