
This update improves progression, resource detection, combat, building, and several interface elements. It also includes important fixes based on community feedback.
Oxygen consumption now scales with planetary habitability. The higher the habitability, the less oxygen players consume, reaching zero consumption at 100%.
Tier 2 and Tier 3 Shovels now dig wider holes. Tier 2 has been increased by 15% and Tier 3 by 30%.
Shovels, Pickaxes, and Axes can now damage enemies.
Each tool deals a different amount of damage and loses additional durability when used in combat.
Melee attacks now apply a small knockback to enemies.
Item stacks are now capped at 999.
Rebalanced Polluters and Tree Planters.
Slowed down overall habitability progression.
The Shovel’s Flatten mode now creates a truly flat surface. The previous behavior remains available as Smooth mode.
Redesigned the Habitability HUD, as well as the Health, Hunger, Thirst, and Oxygen bars.
Hunger, Thirst, and Oxygen indicators now pulse when critically depleted.
Added new audio cues when the player is critically thirsty or running out of oxygen.
Domes now include a Power Link Rod by default, allowing electricity to pass through them.
The Tier 3 Rainwater Collector now includes an integrated filter.
Improved ore generation and optimized several related scripts. Underground ores are now much more common, with occasional veins containing two to four ore deposits.
Detectors have been reworked and now only detect mineable underground minerals. Tier 1 and Tier 2 Detectors now also display depth indicators.
Drinking a cola now returns an empty bottle that can be recycled in a furnace.
Empty food cans can now be recycled into aluminum ingots.
Removing a machine connected to a cable now returns the cable. Cutting cables with Wire Cutters also returns them.
Stairs can now snap together.
Pre-crafted or pre-built items are now correctly counted toward quest objectives.
Objective progress is now displayed consistently across all languages.
Fixed the Tier 2 Crop Plot collision box that prevented it from being placed correctly.
Fixed an issue where graves could lose inventory slots after reloading a save.
Fixed inventory and hotbar item positions not being preserved after loading.
