A brand-new route is coming to SimRail - The Railway Simulator!
We're thrilled to announce the upcoming Łódź North Region DLC, bringing you 140 km of faithfully recreated tracks across the northern lines of the region.
The DLC brings two brand-new single-track routes, each with its own distinct character. The first runs from the Kutno junction through picturesque Witonia and historic Łęczyca all the way to Zgierz, the official gateway to the Łódź Railway Junction. The second heads from Zgierz north to Łowicz, where small stations with just a single passing track become a true test of traffic management, one delay can block an oncoming train and send disruptions cascading across the entire line.
Along the way you'll pass atmospheric stops and historic station buildings in Witonia, Łęczyca, Ozorków and Grotniki, before arriving at Łowicz, a major junction where the single-track lines give way to the double-track Łowicz–Skierniewice main line and a completely different driving experience.
Take control on both sides of the operation: step into the driver's cab and keep precisely to the timetable, or take a seat at the dispatcher's panel and decide which train to let through and which to hold. The route is fully compatible with your existing SimRail rolling stock and DLC, and connects to the existing routes around Łódź and the line to Warsaw.
