Hey everyone!
Update 1.1.0 is now live! Thank you for all your reports and suggestions. This update introduces the completely new Endless Mode alongside Story Mode balancing, quality-of-life improvements, and fixes.
Added an entirely new Endless Mode, unlocked after completing Story Level 11.
Each week features one of five themed map rotations, with the arena changing every 10 waves.
Compete for the highest wave reached across Global Top 100, Friends, and Around Me Steam leaderboards.
Added weekly and all-time personal-best tracking.
Ranked runs use standardized starting power: characters, starting weapons, and Sidekicks use their base stats, while Talents are disabled.
Equipped Mutations and active 4-piece set bonuses carry into Endless, and character Skills remain available.
Endless can still be played if Steam services are unavailable, but the run will be unranked.
Endless runs are single-session and cannot be resumed.
Gold, Mutagen, Vials, and collected gear are awarded when an Endless run ends or is abandoned.
Reduced shop prices and reroll costs, with gentler price inflation across later waves.
Increased enemy scaling to balance the stronger economy and prevent later waves from becoming too easy.
Dodge Chance is now capped and displayed at 90%.
Dodge upgrades will no longer appear during level-ups after reaching the cap.
Added a clear Save & Exit option to the Story Mode pause menu once a safe wave checkpoint is available.
Saved runs resume from the beginning of the checkpointed wave.
You can alternatively abandon a saved run and collect the rewards secured at that checkpoint.
Improved checkpoint, reward, and recovery handling to reduce the risk of lost or duplicated progress.
Added gear-type filters, making it easier to find and compare equipment for specific slots.
Improved inventory organization and sorting.
Continued improving menu and level-up readability on Steam Deck.
Improved external-controller handling on Steam Deck to prevent the Override Aim indicator from flickering.
The Settings menu now displays the active resolution and frame-rate or refresh-rate target even when Fullscreen or VSync disables those controls.
Removed the misleading Range readout from weapon descriptions.
Improved Escape and pause-menu input handling so a single input closes only the intended menu layer.
Improved visual depth sorting for characters, effects, and scenery.
Fixed severe frame-rate drops caused by quickly hovering between Supply Chest rewards.
Expanded Korean, Russian, and Chinese font coverage to prevent missing characters and square glyphs.
Fixed several localized text, tooltip, line-break, and exit-confirmation issues.
Fixed a Zeus lightning initialization issue that could cause broken runs or crashes.
Reduced the volume of Zeus lightning-ball detonations.
Renamed the Resurrection Mutation to Back with a Vengeance to better reflect its actual effect.
Balancing both Story Mode and Endless is an ongoing process, and getting them to feel just right is difficult and time-consuming. We’re happy to keep listening and will continue tuning both modes based on your experiences.
Thank you for your patience and continued support. Constructive feedback is incredibly valuable, so please keep it coming!
