It seems the summer is almost over! We hope you all had the chance to relax for a little while these past few months, and perhaps you also decided to play the last few chapters of Shae and Maeve's routes! If you did, we'd love to hear your thoughts in a comment. (Or a review! wink wink nudge nudge)
Since our last update, we have been taking care of a few small, behind-the-scenes affairs, as well as jumping into development for King Flannán and Queen Aífe's routes. Progress is coming along smoothly for the most part, but in all likelihood the first few chapters won't be ready until early next year. We also intend to release Flannán and Aífe's routes in shorter (but ideally more frequent!) update batches this time around. As such, the first release will contain up to chapter three for both routes. You can read them concurrently without risk of spoiling the other, of course!
All this said, we do have an update in mind for this year: Specifically, a side story in December, focusing on none other than Keagan, the Master of Secrets! Or should we say former? It picks up right where his story left off in a certain someone's route, you see, and well... If you know, you know!
We should mention that unlike Brigid's side story, Keagan's side story will be a paid DLC. However, it'll only be a few dollars, and it will contain an exclusive CG by our guest artist, Sara Schubert! She's done several of our CGs to date, including both of the good ending CGs for Shae and Maeve's routes, so you'll be in for a treat!
That's about all from us for now, but before I say farewell, we have another surprise: There's been a small, sneaky update to the main game, containing a hot new look for the Unseelie King! It's not as stark of a change as Maeve's outfit was between her demo attire and current look, but the change came about for similar reasons. The old look was just not historically grounded enough for the vibe of our game. Nevertheless, we think he looks quite sharp in his new tunic and cloak, and you get a much better look at his crossbow. We hope you love it as much as we do!
