Hello everyone!
The Bell Echoes has released the August 3 regular update.
This update primarily adjusts Yah’s skills, talents, and Skill Insights. The base effects of 【Dawn Echo】 and 【Oblivion Echo】 have been changed from single-target effects to area effects, while Skill Insights now provide separate single-target enhancement and reduced-cost build options.
This update also adjusts several skills belonging to Chris and Syl, unifies the trigger rules of multiple status effects, and fixes an issue involving a Chapter 5 random event.
The initial healing effect of 【Dawn Echo】 has been changed from single-target healing to area healing.
Before:
Select an empty tile and place a 【Glimmer Crystal】 (Object, 1 turn).
Upon placement, applies X Healing to the allied unit with the lowest HP percentage within the area.
X = 3 + 50% Will
When destroyed, Yah gains 1 【Light Charge】.
After:
Select an empty tile and place a 【Glimmer Crystal】 (Object, 1 turn).
Upon placement, applies X Healing to all allied units within the area.
X = 3 + 25% Will
When destroyed, Yah gains 1 【Light Charge】.
The initial damage effect of 【Oblivion Echo】 has been changed from single-target damage to area damage.
Before:
Select an empty tile and place a 【Gloom Crystal】 (Object, 1 turn).
Upon placement, performs a Special Attack against 1 random enemy within the area, dealing 110% Power (Magic) Dark Damage.
When destroyed, Yah gains 1 【Dark Charge】.
After:
Select an empty tile and place a 【Gloom Crystal】 (Object, 1 turn).
Upon placement, performs a Special Attack against all enemies within the area, dealing 80% Power (Magic) Dark Damage.
When destroyed, Yah gains 1 【Dark Charge】.
Before:
【Glimmer Crystal】 healing Will scaling +25%
After:
【Glimmer Crystal】 healing Will scaling +50%, but its placement effect now only heals the allied unit with the lowest HP percentage within the area.
This Skill Insight now changes 【Dawn Echo】 back into a single-target healing skill while providing greater Will scaling.
Before:
【Dawn Echo】 SP cost +50%. Its placement effect changes to healing all allied units within the area.
After:
【Dawn Echo】 SP cost -25%
Before:
【Gloom Crystal】 Power +30%
After:

After:
Activates 【Soul Hunt Mark】 until the end of the next allied turn. Chris gains 1 【DEF Penetration】, and ranged attacks apply 1 【Soul Arrow】. When the state ends, all current 【Soul Arrows】 are automatically detonated.
The duration has been changed from “2 turns” to “until the end of the next allied turn.”
Reactivating 【Soul Hunt Mark】 will still cause the current 【Soul Arrows】 to be detonated early.
The description of this Skill Insight has been updated to clarify its exact trigger condition.
Previous description:
If multiple paths lead to the destination tile, 【Surging Waterflow】 launches multiple streams at once, up to 2.
New description:
If another non-overlapping path leads to the destination tile, 【Surging Waterflow】 launches two streams simultaneously.
Also fixed an issue where the second stream would not automatically appear when the shortest path was selected.
The Attack Damage trigger rules of the following status effects have been unified:
【Weakness】
【Vulnerable】
【Fortify】
【Paralysis】
These effects are now triggered only by Attack Damage dealt through Melee Attacks, Ranged Attacks, or Special Attacks.
After triggering, the status stack count is reduced by 1.
Fixed an issue where the description of 【Paralysis】 was missing.
【Paralysis】 effect:
The first instance of Attack Damage taken is doubled. When triggered, stacks -1. Maximum 1 stack.
Before:
【Plague】: When using an Innate Skill, take 5 Dark True Damage. Lasts 1 turn and cannot stack.
After:
【Plague】: When consuming 1 AP, take 5 Dark True Damage. Lasts 1 turn and cannot stack.
Fixed an issue in the Chapter 5 Corrupted Zone 【Imperial Capital Dungeon】 where the 【Mysterious Carriage】 event could display talents belonging to the wrong character.
The event will now correctly display talents belonging to the corresponding character.
Thank you for your continued feedback on the Chapter 5 update.
We will continue to improve character skills, talents, and Skill Insight builds, while refining status interactions, event flow, and the overall combat experience based on your gameplay experience.
