HALF-LIFE: CROSS PRODUCT MULTIPLAYER · published
This Friday, July 24TH, CROSS PRODUCT MULTIPLAYER will be revitalised.
After around 16 months of progess & development, and nearly two years (longer than we expected!) defined by the previous season, it is finally time for the White Sands era to end and for the Uplink era to begin.
Since the launch of Season 10's Open Beta, we have continued expanding and refining it. The full release will introduce even more additions, including:
King of the Hill gamemode
More new maps and performance optimisations
Brand new Source-engine-style scoreboard & chat panels
Command-menu & MOTD fixes
Numerous additional improvements, fixes, and surprises
To celebrate the launch of Season 10: Uplink, we will be hosting on our official server a release party game night alongside the community.
Join us as we explore the new maps, play the latest gamemodes, and officially welcome the beginning of Season 10.
To help players around the world prepare, a familiar graphic has been created showing exactly when Uplink will release in your territory.
Later this year, we plan to release Volume 2 of the CROSS PRODUCT MULTIPLAYER soundtrack across digital stores, CD, and vinyl.
The album will feature nearly all of the musical cues introduced throughout Season 10. There are a lot of great tunes on the way, and players who purchase the soundtrack here on Steam will receive the Expanded Edition for the same price as the standard edition available through other services.
In true Phoenix tradition we have already begun building the foundations of CROSS PRODUCT MULTIPLAYER's next major update: Season 11.
We are currently brainstorming its theme, features, maps, and other additions. There is still a long way to go for not only Multiplayer, but also the Campaign, which is taking shape.
Later this year we will be increasing production on the CROSS PRODUCT SINGLEPLAYER CAMPAIGN; we cannot wait until we are ready to show you more.
Until then, keep on fragging in Multiplayer.
This has been an incredible journey for us here at The Phoenix Project Software, and it is one we hope will continue for many years to come. We cannot thank you enough for the support and enthusiasm you have shown since CROSS PRODUCT MULTIPLAYER and Half-Life Legacy launched on Steam.
We will see you in Uplink.
