Mixed Martial Cards has been in Steam open playtesting for almost two months now. Now that we can see some patterns how people play the game and create their decks, it's time for some balancing!
Patch notes:
Removed upgraded block coach strategies (prevent 80% damage and body injuries)
Added new win condition, body knockout
Added new coach strategies, new coach actions and new perks
Reworked "Massage" coach action, now heals some body and leg injuries instead of giving stamina
Rest now gives 30 stamina instead of 20. Also heals 1 body injury
Your deck can now have 3 coach actions instead of 2
Timeout is now called 1 round earlier than before
Added new card: Punish the body attack (counter against attacks to body)
Nerfed Split the guard, by requiring to play it in attack phase instead of surprise
Reworked Liver shot and Chin check to only proc on unblocked attacks
After launching the update, you will have to update any decks you have previously created - selecting new strategies to replace previous deleted ones and choosing 1 additional coach action.The Steam playtest will continue to remain open and free.
