The world of Almost Home has undergone a massive visual transformation.
Over the last weeks we've completely reworked the game's lighting and atmosphere systems from the ground up. Our goal wasn't just to make the game look prettier. We wanted every location to feel more alive, more mysterious, and more immersive while preserving the lonely atmosphere that defines the experience.
We've also spent a lot of time improving visual contrast and readability. Important landmarks are easier to spot from a distance, environmental details are more noticeable, and exploration feels more rewarding thanks to a stronger sense of depth throughout the world.
The difference is difficult to describe in words. The island simply feels more alive.
The island has a new challenge waiting for those brave enough to face it.
Rising high above the surrounding wilderness, the Root Tower stands as one of the most imposing landmarks added to Almost Home.
