Update 0.1.17: flashlight hands, fullscreen and mouse fixes

Hey everyone, this update brings a new flashlight grip and fixes several issues with fullscreen and mouse controls.

  • Reworked the first-person hands and flashlight grip for a more natural wrist position.
  • Added black gloves and sleeves that match your selected hazmat suit.
  • Fullscreen now fills the display, including widescreen layouts.
  • In the Windows game, pressing Escape opens the pause menu while keeping your fullscreen setting.
  • Mouse look now activates automatically when starting or resuming a run. Menus release the mouse so you can use them, and returning to play captures it again.
  • Improved mouse capture recovery after quickly pausing and resuming.

You can check the installed version on the title screen: BUILD v0.1.17.

Thanks for the feedback and for helping me improve Clipped Reality. If a control or display issue remains, please share your screen resolution, display mode, and what you were doing when it happened.

I'm making my first game, and the feedback about movement helped me spot something I needed to fix. Here's what changed: · A and D now move you sideways instead of turning you. The controller's left stick does the same, with the right stick handling look. · Diagonal movement stays at normal movement speed. · Mouse-look…News12 Sep 2026Our first game, Clipped Reality, is out now!Hey everyone! Our first game is out. Clipped Reality is now on Steam, and we're excited to finally share it with you. It's a first-person horror game you can play alone or with up to three friends. You'll hunt for real signals, avoid decoys and fix your way out of some very wrong-looking rooms while something hunts you. A few things to watch out for: answering the phone in the Barber Shop makes…
