Welcome back! I know you missed me!
This is one of the biggest updates yet, introducing a new way to play, a completely redesigned event-day experience and improvements throughout the game.
Build A Promotion
Instead of creating your own promotion almost hidden on the new game screen, I have given it it's own space on the main menu. There should hopefully be no confusion over the game mode now! You create your own wrestling promotion and build it from the ground up.
Choose your starting conditions, roster, staff, championships and finances.
Begin with low popularity and grow from local shows into a global wrestling powerhouse.
The existing company mode is now presented separately as “Take Over a Promotion”.
Added improved onboarding and a welcome email explaining the importance of staff.
New players can automatically hire the recommended essential staff team.
Immersive Event Day
Event Day has been completely redesigned as an immersive live-production experience. You begin by checking over your card in the gorilla position before hitting showtime. You can scroll through the segments, making changes as you see fit. You also have a couple of pre-show decisions to make.
The decisions you make during show day will have real consequences. Expect a follow-up email after the show if someone is not happy!
During the show, you will have decisions that you need to make and these also have consequences. Just a couple of the new scenarios include a wrestler who is injured and you need to decide who to replace them with and also the possibility of changing who wins a big title. Injuries and other incidents can generate follow-up emails after the event.
Decision frequency is capped to keep shows moving and reduce repetition and decisions that change a winner or participant now carry through to the actual segment result.
Expanded Live Commentary
The commentary has been rebuilt to be more realistic. Commentators now bounce off each other and in-between you get updates from production, the arena and the dirtsheets. Commentators now have distinct personalities, including face-and-heel disagreements and occasional humour.
Beat downs, contract signings, interviews, face-to-face confrontations, adverts and other segment types now use appropriate commentary. The commentary library has been significantly expanded and safeguards are in place to prevent repitition across shows.
Events & Tournaments
Events can now be reopened and edited after creation.
Draft tournaments can now be edited.
Empty Events and Tournaments screens now use a cleaner visual creation tile.
Added an always-visible event creation button when events already exist.
Improved event navigation and removed unnecessary duplicate controls.
Added more arenas and smaller venues, including Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena ;)
Greatly expanded the selection of locations and smaller venues across Germany and Spain.
Championship Presentation
Added a new championship showcase view inspired by wrestling-event stage screens.
Browse one title at a time using previous and next controls.
The showcase displays prestige, champion, number-one contender, date won and days held.
Players can switch between the showcase and traditional card views.
Removed internal custom-promotion IDs from championship presentation.
Talent, Staff & Scouting
Talent Search can now be filtered by company and country.
Returning from a wrestler profile now restores your previous position in the search results.
Improved wrestler and staff portrait handling to prevent stretching and unwanted cropping.
Added 200 more wrestler and staff images.
Renamed “Referee Coordinator” to “Referee”.
Corrected the gender records for Indie Iris and Nolan Nova.
Interface Improvements
Refined the main menu with clearer game-mode presentation and larger headings.
Expanded the sidebar to use the full available height and removed unnecessary outer gaps.
Introduced a consistent black, white and red treatment for major actions and navigation controls. Improved headers, arrows, buttons, setup screens and transition panels.
Reduced unnecessary borders, oversized panels and unused space across several screens.
Improved portrait scaling and containment throughout wrestler profiles and Event Day.
Fixes & Polish
Fixed match-finish decisions offering invalid pinfall or roll-up options for escape-based cage matches. Fixed advert segments receiving match-related commentary.
Fixed commentary occasionally identifying the wrong wrestler as the victim of a beat down.
Fixed live decisions failing to apply the selected winner to the resulting match.
Improved scenario and commentary history tracking to prevent early repetition.
Updated release checks and packaged-game testing for the redesigned main menu and event flow. Numerous smaller visual, navigation and stability improvements.
As you can see from the fixes part, a lot of fixes are focused on the new commentary system. I will continue to gather feedback and work to make this even better.
Thank you for all the feedback. The new live-show system is an important step toward making every event feel like a wrestling production rather than a collection of menus, and we will continue expanding it in future updates.
I am blown away by the support of you all and I can't thank you enough. Lots of good discussions going on in the Discord so make sure you join us!
