Empire Eleven Day-One Patch Notes v1.0.7

Hello Managers!

Here is our first batch of fixes following the launch. Almost everything in this update came directly from player reports—mostly bug fixes for issues where the game displayed numbers or questions that didn't match what was actually happening behind the scenes.

Existing saves will continue to work. Interface and screen fixes take effect immediately, while competition and season transition fixes will fully apply to new careers.

💰 Transfers

  • Selling a player used to consume your transfer budget. When requesting a fee for your player, the Deal Summary subtracted that amount from your budget—as if you were buying—and flagged "over budget." The summary now correctly reflects sales: requested amount, net income (minus agent commission), wage freed up, and your budget increasing.

  • Note: Funds were always credited correctly upon finalizing the deal. The error was strictly in the summary shown before deciding—which was misleading player choices.

  • Two lines in the negotiation summary appeared in Portuguese across all language options.

🎙️ Press Conferences

  • Reporters questioned your discipline over an opponent's red card (e.g., "Will you talk to the player?"). Red cards now attribute to the correct team: if the rival got sent off, reporters ask how the numerical advantage altered the game, featuring unique responses.

  • The "Match MVP" could be selected from the opposing team. You were prompted to comment on a rival star's performance and replied "we have quality players." Worse, that response affected your squad's morale. The match highlight is now chosen exclusively from your roster.

⚽ Matchday

  • The match clock kept running during goal replays. Gameplay paused for the replay, but the time kept ticking in the background.

  • Penalty shootouts counted as goals and awarded assists to the goalkeeper. A 0-0 decision decided on penalties displayed a top scorer with 1 goal and a top assister with 5 assists—the opposing goalkeeper, credited for every penalty faced. Shootout goals no longer count toward top scorers, assists, match reports, player ratings, or contract bonuses. Regular-time penalties still count as goals (and never generate assists).

  • At halftime, Substitutions and Tactics buttons opened outdated screens. They now open the full tactics screen, identical to the mid-match button.

🏆 Competitions & Season Transition

  • Competitions exceeded their own scheduling window. The 2026 Copa do Brasil could extend into January 2027: rescheduled matches were pushed indefinitely forward while open days passed unused. Rescheduling now checks available open days earlier in the calendar first and never breaches competition deadlines.

  • This wasn't just cosmetic: season rollover waits for all active competitions to conclude, so a stretched competition froze the entire game world.

  • South American seasons failed to roll over in European saves (and vice versa). When managing in Europe, South American leagues finished in December and remained frozen for months showing a finished season—without access, relegation, or qualification updates. Calendars now transition their seasons based on their local dates.

📋 Board & Expectations

  • The board requested "reach the semifinals" in a Supercup—a single-match tournament. Besides looking out of place, the objective completed automatically before kickoff. Board expectation scaling now properly fits tournament sizes (single-match → title or strong performance; 4-club setup → semifinals as debut, and so on).

  • In single-match finals, expectations now derive from a direct comparison against your opponent—a favorite mid-tier club no longer gets set minimum expectations simply for not being a powerhouse.

  • The board's selected target did not always match its calculated expectations: favorites in cup competitions were never suggested to win the title.

📊 Club Value

  • The same club displayed three different values—one on the Dashboard, another in My Club, and a third in Global Search profiles. The Dashboard metric was the most severe: it displayed budget caps (or cash balance) under the "Club Value" label. All screens now draw data from the same unified source.

  • Under "Buy Assets," the displayed number represents the asking price (club value plus takeover premium) but was previously labeled simply as "Value." It now displays the correct label alongside the base club value so the difference is clear.

  • The "{0}th in the country" badge next to club value was accidentally ranking global values.

🔍 Scouting Clubs

  • New "Scout Club" button added to profile headers next to the overall rating. A single click assigns your club's top available Performance Analyst, with the header showing scouting report progress. Previously, this action only existed within the Squad tab, leaving users opening profiles via Finances facing an inaccessible option.

  • The Sponsors tab now requires a completed scouting report. Information regarding rival sponsor terms, payouts, and contract lengths is confidential background data and was previously visible for all clubs globally.

  • Rival finances now require two criteria: an active Financial Analyst on your payroll and a completed report on that target club. Previously, hiring an analyst instantly revealed global financial ledgers.

💼 Manager Market

  • Interview invitations arrived from clubs without national divisions—clubs existing in your save solely as Champions League participants. You were invited to manage teams with no league matches to play. Open vacancies under these conditions are now automatically terminated.

📬 Inbox

  • Pre-match reports arrived twice.

  • "{0}" and "{1}" raw placeholders appeared on screen. Player injury emails were the most visible instance, while opponent dossiers displayed "Overall: ~{0}" in headers. A comprehensive review checked all text calls across all six supported languages to fix these placeholders across the board.

  • Youth academy reminders suffered from the same duplication issue and have been resolved.

🎨 Visuals & Presentation

  • Club badges flickered and aliased when scrolling lists. Correct texture filtering settings have been applied.

  • Stadium names are now fully integrated into the naming system alongside clubs and players.

Thank you to everyone who reported these issues. Empire Eleven is developed by a solo developer, and every report complete with screenshots and context leads to quick fixes—several items on this list went from community report to live patch on the same day.

Please keep sharing your feedback on our community forum!
