Keeping Breachers a competitive, welcoming, and fair game for everyone, is incredibly important to us as the developers.
Every match should come down to communication, teamwork, positioning, map knowledge, and skill, not which player is willing to gain an unfair advantage. That’s why we have always invested, and are continuing to invest, in systems that help protect the integrity of our game.
That’s why we’re bringing Tomahawk anti-cheat to Breachers.
Tomahawk will complement the anti-cheat and security systems we already have in place. Protecting a competitive game like Breachers works best when we approach its anti-cheat measures from multiple angles. In that respect, Tomahawk isn’t a replacement for our existing work but an additional layer on top of it.
Our own measures will continue to play an important role in identifying and addressing cheating, while Tomahawk gives us another tool to help detect and act against unfair play.
We hope you know that anti-cheat isn’t something we will ever consider as “finished”. Those who develop cheats will undoubtedly adapt, and that means we can’t sit on our hands either.
We will continue monitoring the effectiveness of our systems, improve our own measures, and continue to look for additional ways to make sure that when you queue up to play Breachers, you’ll be met with fair play.
