The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Ed. Patch 2.5.10 is Now Available

Greetings, Halcyon Citizens!  
 
We hope you have been enjoying your return to the Colony.  
 
The Board is pleased to announce that Patch 2.5.10.0 is now available. If you don’t see the patch right away, please try restarting your PC launcher.

Here are some of the changes and fixes we’ve been up to in this patch: 

Save Game Transfer 

All platforms now support save transfers via a new button in the settings menu under Settings > Gameplay > Saved Games > Transfer the Outer Worlds Saves.  

Platforms: PC, XBOX Series X/S, PS5 

Players are able to do a one-time transfer of saves from The Outer Worlds to The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice edition. You must have saves from The Outer Worlds present on the same machine for the platform you own the game on. 
 
Please note that due to platform restrictions, achievements will not transfer to PlayStation 5.

Bugfixes

Environments / Levels / Lighting 

• Fixed an issue with shadows at the church in Stellar Bay Ruins. 

• Improved the character skin, eyes, and hair to be less shiny  

• Improved lighting with various characters across the game  

• Fixed an issue where a shadow would appear on the player ship when the Gorgon DLC cargo box is not visible  

Combat 

• Scrap Mechanical will no longer damage the player anytime when landing  

• The Scrap Mechanical will attack with the group in the Back Bays when engaging battle  

• Orthrus the Canid no longer disappears after entering the Geothermal Plant in Emerald Vale  

Menus / UI 

• Added a missing SFX for the “Flip Sort” action in the inventory  

• Corrected an issue with not being able to select “No” on unsaved graphics changes.  

• Junking items no longer changes its mods or durability 

• Fixed an issue with Spacer’s Choice faction dialogue lines not appearing in Peril on Gorgon DLC. 

• Faction discounts now properly apply to all vending machines  

• Fixed an issue where after completing the quest on Lucien Bancroft's side, a second Spacer's Choice entry appeared in Reputation tab 

• The “Flip Sort” action in the inventory menus will only affect the page you activate it on. 

• Main menu font size has the correct font size when switching between two profiles 

• Fixed an issue on gamepads where activating an elevator call switch will also reload current weapon  

Quests 

• If you are above level 10 you can still acquire the Unique Grimm’s Tossball Blocker. 

• Fixed an issue with flying the Unreliable away from Groundbreaker during the Parvati quest.  

• Fixed an issue that was preventing some players from completing the “Solution Vital” quest  

• Fixed an issue with the player not being able to speak to Irion after attacking the medbot during the Solution Vital quest.  

• Addressed an issue with the "Friendship's Due" quest on older saves.   

• Fixed an issue where the player cannot progress "The Low Crusade" after attacking Ellie's parents in Byzantium  

• Fixed an issue where A Prisoner Soldier fails to interrogate the player  

• Addressed an issue with “The Secret People” quest description when you shoot the Mathers without talking to them or Velma  

• Dr. Chartrand’s guards will now properly react to the player’s actions
