Request Access is off

We've closed playtest requests.
That's the news if you were about to ask for a key, that button's gone. If you're already in, nothing changes today. Your build keeps working and we're still reading every report that comes in.

You're the door now

Playtesters can still bring friends in. With requests closed, that's the only way through so if you've got someone who's been meaning to join, it's on you.

Why we're winding down

1.0 is close. We're targeting early August, and we'd rather spend what's left of that fixing the things you already found than onboarding a fresh wave of testers into the same rough edges. The playtest did exactly what we hoped: real save folders, on real machines, doing things we'd never have thought to test. Modded Minecraft worlds. Emulator memory cards. Folders named in ways no reasonable person would name a folder. You found the edge cases, and 1.0 is meaningfully better for it. The reports were unusually good, too. A playtest where everyone says "works fine" is worthless — this one wasn't. Thank you for that, genuinely.

What about my saves?

Great question.
Unfortunatly anything stored on the playtest will be deleted after launch. The server will continue to run for another few weeks and then everything will be drained down.

The good news, migrating is as easy as installing the launch version and creating a backup.
