Terra Invicta · published · build 25216249

Greetings Terrans!
Thanks to some feedback from players, we're slowing down the timing of Earth invasion fleets in the DLC scenarios. This was occurring in the 2003 start in part due to a bug, but we're also adjusting some AI settings as well to appropriately scale the challenge the game is providing for both scenarios. Specific changes:
- Fixed mistakes in the 2003 alien AI that led to invasion fleets being sent too early.
- Extended the "quiet" period in 2003 by 50%
- Broken Earth aliens no longer create invasion goals at the beginning of the campaign on all difficulties.
These changes generally will only apply in new campaigns in the DLC scenarios, although they may reduce alien aggression some if players are still the first few years of existing campaigns. (The build is technically compatible with older 1.0.xx builds so new campaigns are not required when the patch installs.)
The fixes will be more pronounced on Normal and Forgiving difficulties.
We have further balancing and other fixes in our pipeline. We encourage players to who want to take part in the game's continued development to try out our Beta and Experimental branches on Steam. We update these more frequently than the default branch and post changes on our Discord and web site. Every voice providing feedback helps us makes the game better!
