Hello, Investigators! As you will have noticed, we have changed the keyart to reflect better the themes and mood of the game being a Noir Detective game set during the cold war. Alongside these changes, I wanted to give you an update on how the game is coming along and a sense of just how big it's become.
As it stands, Green Mist over Portland has over 200 events to unlock across 60 locations, with more than 50 characters to encounter along the way. The story spans from Cynthia's earliest days as a young spy through to deep conspiracies and murders at the height of the Cold War.
On top of that, there are over 100 documents waiting to be found in the MI6 Archive, plus full glossary entries about the real-world events that inspired the story for those of you who like to dig into every detail. Some of these glossary entries include material straight from top-secret documents that have since been declassified, which I've personally read in private reading rooms at the British National Archives. As far as I know, some of this material has never been digitised before.
I have listened and spent some time revising the UI and adding more tutorials for the early game hurdles to provide players with a smoother experience. There's still more to come, but the shape of the full game is here now, and it's bigger than I ever originally planned.
To celebrate, an updated version of the demo with more events, more characters and the updated tutorials will be available soon to everyone
